NETS Victoria are an organisation that provides touring exhibitions of contemporary visual arts, craft and design. The client was seeking a new website that reflected the journeying nature of their work while maintaining clear presentation of a large amount
of information. I created a solution that references the open highway and packaging symbols, which are used to communicate the correct methods of handling the artwork they transport. The concepts above still feature place holder text as the website
is currently being developed. |

The cover design and flat view of the unfolded packaging of my third self-released CD-R. The recording involves a guitar being played by
a fan motor with wire attached to it,
an organ, field recordings and a lot
of effects. The image was created from a photograph of a camera's flash reflecting against running water.

Ottoman 3 is a "nail and brow bar" located at Myer Highpoint in Maribynong. They
specialise in manicures, pedicures and eyebrow threading. The site builds on the existing logo and stylesheet. It's minimalist look
has the familiar first impression of many beauty related websites, but the colour scheme and use of pattern help to give it a unique feel. |

Dance Massive is a festival celebrating Australian contemporary dance. The website, programs and press ads involved working to a pre-existing look. The press ads were often made at short notice and with many changes from the client. All deadlines
were met. |

The second, titled Deep River of Song (8 Recordings of Tunnels and Rooms Beneath the Eastern Freeway, Melbourne) features a number of recordings made in various locations within an underground tunnel.

A redesign of the existing Melbourne International Film Festival brochure for university. This version attempted to condense the large format version in use into a slimmer booklet, capable of being carried in a large pocket or purse. A huge amount of information was dealt with in this project to create a fully functioning new version of the program. |

Preachin' The Blues is an illustrated introduction to the masters of early blues music
from the Mississippi Delta. In line with the title and the religious subject matter of many blues songs, a debossed silver title is centred on the cover, giving it a slightly Bible-like feel. The book features hand drawn illustrations which allow the organic qualities of the line-work to reference the distincitvely humanistic music. |

This set of promotional pieces for an international avant-garde fashion exhibition
required a suitably daring outcome, due to the nature of the bold fashion design being presented. The graphic hero image, which uses ten lines to represent the ten designers exhibiting, coupled with the unconventional form of the brochure, creates a conceptual interpretation of the exhibition that sets it apart from the common figurative representations of fashion. |

This catalogue presents the cactus as a sustainable choice in exotic gardening.
The close-up photography gives the reader a fresh look at cacti and allows for appreciation of the intricate details of the species. The front cover illustration is based
on the pattern of a circular cactus. In keeping with the conservational mind-set, the document
is staple bound.

This brochure brings the elaborate atmosphere of the circus to a printed piece.
Pop-ups are used to aid the extravagant mood and give the document an extra level
of dimensionality. The catalogue is both a diorama that that would appeal to children and a salutation to circus imagery with which older generations are familiar. |
